Getting to Aonach - View Location on Google Maps Here

Drumguish is easily accessible with excellent road and rail links from Edinburgh, Glasgow and the South. Trains stop at Kingussie several times a day including the Inter City 125 from London to Kingussie. In summer, the Motorail vehicle carrying service can be used at Inverness, 40 miles North by road.

From Kingussie take the Ruthven Road (B970) out of town and over the River Spey. Following the road past historic Ruthven Barracks and the RSPB Nature Reserve, you will reach Tromie Bridge where the road veers sharp left. Watch for a sign on the right after a few hundred yards pointing up the hill to Drumguish. The road climbs uphill, winding through the pine wood for ½ a mile. Aonach is the second of the two modern houses on the left as you emerge from the wood at Drumguish.
